On February 1st, the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National Committee of CPPCC held its 20th meeting, which approved the nomination of the Twelfth National Committee members of CPPCC with a total number of 2237 members. Professor Jiang Yaodong, Vice President of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing (CUMTB) is listed as one of the 108 members in education circle.

Jiang Yaodong, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1958 in Hai’an County of Jiangsu Province. As professor and doctoral supervisor at CUMTB, he also serves as trustee of Beijing Friendship Association for Non-party Senior Intellectuals as well as deputy to the 13th Beijing Municipal People’s Congress.
