Recently, the Ministry of Education released the name list of specially-appointed professors and chair professors of Cheung Kong Scholar in 2011. Prof. Zhou Hongwei and Prof. Han Minfang from our university were awarded “Cheung Kong Scholar” title.

　　The Ministry of Education decided to carry out new “Cheung Kong Scholars” Program from 2011 for the purpose of strengthening the construction of high-level talents in colleges and universities and attracting and cultivating a large number of leading talents with international influence. Every year, 150 specially-appointed professors will take a 5-year employment term while 50 chair professors will take a 3-year employment term. Specially-appointed professors and chair professors will be awarded “Cheung Kong Scholar” title by the Ministry of Education.
