On November 8th, 2017,Environmental Science & Technology(ES&T), an international top-class periodical in environtology, published on line the “Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials in Uranium-Rich Coals and Associated Coal Combustion Residues from China” by Prof. Dai Shifeng from CUMTB and Prof. Avner Vengosh’s team from Duke University. This paper is part of research results of the cooperation among the State Key Laboratory of Coal Resource and Safe Mining (CUMTB), Duke University and Duke Kunshan University, aiming to evaluate China’s environmental problems in coal and fly ash utilization.
