On December 9, the award ceremony of the 15th China Post-Graduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling 2018 was held at Ocean University of China. Postgraduates of CUMTB received a good result－1 first prize, 3 third prizes, and 17 successful participation prizes. This is the first time that the postgraduates have won the first prize in this contest.The contest attracted36621 postgraduates of12,207 teams out of 488 universities, coming froma total of 32 provinces, municipalities,autonomous regions, and Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. A total of 4358 teams are awarded the top three prizes, including 184 first prizes, 1588 second prizes, and 2586 third prizes. The prize-winning ratio is 35.7%. All the rest teams (7849 teams) are given the successful participation prizes.
