At the recently concluded 2023 Beijing Student Dance Festival, our university's Student Art Troupe's dance performances, “Rhythm of Beijing” and “Chinese Soul” received the Silver Award in the Chinese Dance category and the Bronze Award in the Modern and Contemporary Dance category respectively.

The classical dance “Rhythm of Beijing” combines grace and strength, presenting a beautiful and majestic performance. Accompanied by distinctive classical opera background music, the dancers adeptly maneuver through changing positions, gracefully moving with the rhythm and vividly portraying the images of classical opera actresses. This fully showcases the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

The dance performance “Chinese Soul” expresses heartfelt emotions, serving as a carrier for patriotic sentiments, praising the great spirit of the Chinese nation, showcasing the excellence of traditional Chinese culture, and revealing the unyielding spirit and sincere hearts of the Chinese people.

The university will continue to implement the “Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving the Work of School Aesthetic Education in the New Era” issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council. It will adhere to the principles of moral education, rooted in contemporary life, follow the characteristics of aesthetic education, promote the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education, and facilitate the comprehensive development of aesthetic education in the university, as outlined in the “Implementation Measures for Strengthening Aesthetic Education in China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing in the New Era”.
