On May 15^th, the CPC Leading Group of the Ministry of Education announced the appointment decisions at China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. Han Shangfeng was appointed Secretary of the CPC Committee of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, and Liu Bo was appointed President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the university. Due to age reason, Xu Xiaomin will no longer serve as Secretary of the CPC Committee of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, and Ge Shirong will no longer serve as President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the university. Wang Jiayi, member of the CPC Leading Group of the Ministry of Education, Vice Minister, Chief Inspector, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Relevant representatives from the Education Commission of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education also attended the meeting.

Members of the university’s board, retired senior members of the leadership, members of the CPC Committee, members of the Discipline Inspection Commission, middle-level cadres, professors, and other faculty representatives from the university were present at the meeting.

Han Shangfeng was born in June 1975. He is a Doctor of Management, and a member of the Communist Party of China. He has previously served as Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of China University of Petroleum-Beijing, and Member of the Standing Committee and Vice President (temporary position) of Hainan Normal University.

Liu Bo was born in October 1970. He is a Doctor of Engineering, a member of the Communist Party of China, and a professor. He has previously served as Member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing.
