Recently, as one of the supporting events of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum, the final of the Alumni Science and Technology Innovation Competition on Xueyuan Road took place in Beijing. After intense competition among 17 outstanding projects from 6 universities in the Xueyuan Road area, our university's project, “Changtu Cloud, a digital twin cloud platform based on the fusion of geological multi-source data”, stood out. It secured a top-three position, earning our university the Excellence Award in the final competition.

At the final competition, seven professional judges from the investment, industry, and academic sectors provided targeted comments and guidance for the projects. The winning projects will have the opportunity to register their companies within the jurisdiction of Xueyuan Road area, receiving support in terms of venue, business registration, and more. Furthermore, during the industrialization process, they will receive assistance from Genfire Innovation Park of CAS, including technical personnel, and benefit from the comprehensive service process for the transformation of university research achievements.

The final competition of this event was guided by the Beijing Haidian District Committee of the CPC, Haidian District Government, and the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee. It was organized by the Working Committee of the Xueyuan Road of the Haidian District Committee of the CPC and the Xueyuan Road Sub-district Office of the Haidian District Government. Since the launch of the Alumni Science and Technology Innovation Competition on Xueyuan Road in December 2021, our university has actively engaged in discussions and exchanges with Xueyuan Road Sub-district Office to promote the advancement of this competition. Following the release of the event announcement, our university collected a total of 12 projects spanning various fields, including software and information services, new materials, next-generation information technology, and intelligent manufacturing. We have organized a university-level preliminary competition and several coaching and exchange activities.

Our university will continue to leverage opportunities such as the Alumni Science and Technology Innovation Competition on Xueyuan Road and engage in activities within the Xueyuan Road area, including the 'Three Belts and One Festival' initiative. These endeavors aim to further establish platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, enabling us to achieve new milestones and advance our university's innovation and entrepreneurship education to new heights.
