As the 39th Teachers' Day approaches, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission has announced the winners of the 2023 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Excellence Award and the Beijing Higher Education Young Teaching Excellence Award. Professor Shang Yu from the School of Management at China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing has been honored with the 19th Beijing Higher Education Teaching Excellence Award.

In accordance with the “Notice from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission on the Selection of the 2023 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Excellence Award” (Beijing Education Letter〔2023〕No. 139), a total of 78 teachers have been awarded the 19th Beijing Higher Education Teaching Excellence Award, and 64 teachers received the 7th Beijing Higher Education Young Teaching Excellence Award after the school's recommendation, expert reviews, committee voting, and verification and public announcement by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
