Recently, the editorial office of the "Journal of Mining Science and Technology" received the Annual Report on Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals, jointly released by CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and the Chinese Scientific Literature Evaluation and Measurement Research Center.

As of the end of 2020, the "Journal of Mining Science and Technology" had an Academic Journal Clout Index (CI) of 265.2, ranking 15^thamong 75 Chinese and English scientific journals in the "Mining Engineering Technology" category in China. Its composite impact factor was 1.801, ranking 9^thin the same category.

Currently, the "Journal of Mining Science and Technology" hosted by our university, has been selected into the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) core journal collection, the "High-Quality Scientific Journals in the Coal Field" T2 category, the RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journals (A-), and the Q1 region of the Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors.

We sincerely thank the authors, readers, editorial board members, peer reviewers, the editorial team, and the faculty and students of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing for their support and assistance. Moving forward, the "Journal of Mining Science and Technology" will continue to maintain high-quality publication standards, precisely solicit contributions nationwide, focus on trending topics, and implement rigorous peer review processes. We will persist in our efforts to become a leading scientific journal in China.
