From May 28 to May 30, the 25^thChina University Tennis Championships North China Regional Tournament was held at the East Campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Wang Zhongqiang, Deputy Secretary of the CUMTB Party Committee and Director of the University Sports Committee, attended the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winning teams. Our university achieved excellent results, winning the second place in the Women's Group B team and the fifth place in the Men's Group B team. These achievements secured our women's team a spot in the team competition and our men's team a spot in the singles competition at the finals of the 25^thChina University Tennis Championship.

Our athletes demonstrated teamwork and perseverance, facing strong opponents without fear. The women's team showcased their synergy and consistent performance, overcoming fatigue from consecutive matches in the group stage, knockout rounds, semifinals, and finals. They defeated opponents such as Beijing Normal University and Shandong Sports Institute to emerge as the top team in their group. In the semifinals, they faced Inner Mongolia Normal University, where the players delivered outstanding performances to reach the finals, ultimately securing the runner-up position and setting a new record for our university in tennis competitions. The men's team, playing with stability and strategic adjustments, showed resilience and mutual encouragement. Although facing formidable opponents, they played beyond their usual level, defeating strong teams like Shandong Sports Institute and Minzu University of China to achieve a commendable fifth place finish.
