Recently, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the list of approved 2020 International Cooperative Programs for Innovative Talents (ICPIT) . All three projects submitted by our university in 2020 have successfully received funding approval.
Three approved ICPIT programs for our university in 2020 are as below:
"First-Class ICPIT in the Field of Clean Energy and Solid Waste Resource Utilization," led by Professor Liu Shuqin from School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering.
"First-Class ICPIT in the Field of Ecological Geology Environment and Remote Sensing", led by Professor Dong Donglin from School of Earth Sciences and Surveying Engineering.
"First-Class ICPIT in the Field of Deep Rock Mechanics and Engineering," led by Academician He Manchao from State Key Laboratory of Deep Underground Engineering and Rock Mechanics.
The approved programs will allow our university to annually select a certain number of teachers or postgraduate students to visit international cooperative institutions for high-level visits, joint training, or doctoral studies. The projects will receive continuous funding for three years, after which rolling funding can be applied. The approval of these projects is of significant importance to our university's "Double First-Class" disciplinary construction and the cultivation of more innovative, urgently needed, and versatile international talents. Currently, our university has obtained a total of six International Cooperative Programs for Innovative Talents funded by the China Scholarship Council.
The Graduate School will continue to organize the application process for the 2021 CSC funded International Cooperative Program for Innovative Talents. This effort aims to expand our university's pathways for international talent development and to increase funding supports. Additionally, the Graduate School will supervise the execution of these six approved programs rigorously, ensuring all related tasks are carried out effectively.
