On March 25^th, Elsevier officially released the 2024 list of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers". A total of 6,388 scholars were included on the list, coming from 547 universities, enterprises, and research institutions, covering 10 disciplinary areas and 83 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education. Fourteen scholars from our university were selected for Elsevier's 2024 list of China's most cited researchers.

This list uses Scopus, a globally authoritative citation and index database, as the statistical source for the research achievements of Chinese scholars. It adopts a methodology developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, and by 2025, this is the eleventh time the two parties have collaborated on releasing the list, which has received significant attention from numerous media and scholars both domestically and internationally.
