On April 2nd, on the occasion of the 18th"World Autism Awareness Day," an exhibition themed "The Fingertip Universe of Star Talkers," showcasing paintings and handicrafts created by autistic children and adolescents, was held at the University History Plaza of CUMTB Xueyuan Road campus.

This event displayed over two hundred artistic works created by autistic children and teenagers. Colorful paintings and intricate handicrafts enabled students to witness the creative artistic world of the "children of the stars" and feel the resilience of this special group in the face of life. The event site was bustling with activity. The thoughtfully designed "Starlight Market, Exchanging Love for Light" section allowed students to write warm blessing cards in exchange for handicrafts made by autistic children, creating a warm flow of gifts and emotions between "fireflies and starlight." This embodied the mutual healing path of our students, who "help others while helping themselves." The "Starlight Science Popularization, Quiz with Prizes" section was also constantly crowded. Students learned about the symptoms, causes, treatments, and other knowledge related to autism through fun interactions. Professional psychologists on-site patiently answered questions, transforming obscure professional knowledge into easily understandable content, helping students build a bridge of understanding and inclusiveness. Students of different age groups interacted and learned together at the event, allowing the awareness of caring for special groups to take root in campus culture and enhancing students' thinking and responsibility towards social duties.

The holding of this event has enhanced the university's mental health science popularization efforts and effectively promoted the organic connection between different educational stages. It is a positive practice by the university in responding to the school-community collaborative education mental health service system. In the future, the university will continue to actively carry out various mental health education activities and continuously deepen the integrated construction of mental health education in primary, middle, and high schools, letting mental health education benefit more students, creating a positive and inclusive campus cultural atmosphere, and escorting students' growth and development.
