To enrich the spiritual and cultural life of retired faculty and staff, enhance their physical and mental well-being, and showcase their vitality in retirement, the university held a fun sports meeting for retired faculty and staff on April 8th. Over 180 retired colleagues gathered together to enjoy the fun of sports and participated in the competitions in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

The scene of the sports meeting was warm and lively, with cheers and laughter echoing continuously. A total of six events were set up for the sports meeting, including ring toss, kettlebell throwing, sandbag throwing for accuracy, fixed-point basketball shooting, fixed-point soccer shooting, and dart throwing. The retired colleagues looked vigorous and enthusiastic, some aiming carefully at the ring toss target, and some kicking the football into the goal in succession, displaying their "still vigorous in old age" demeanor. They said, "This sports meeting allowed us to gather together, move around, and have fun. We feel ten years younger!" "The activity not only exercised our bodies but also enhanced our friendships with old friends. We thank the university for its concern for us retired colleagues and appreciate the thoughtful organization by the Retirement Office and the Sports Teaching and Research Department."

After more than two hours of joyful competition, the sports meeting came to a close amidst laughter. This fun sports meeting further enhanced the awareness of physical fitness among retired faculty and staff and promoted communication and exchange among them.
